Well, You mean Backspace? If so, There is something like Backspace on keyboard, It is called 'Delete'.

My keyboard doesn't have any buttons labeled "Return" , but I do have 2 labeled "Enter"  :lol:

Okay, hit ESC when you are logged onto the main game server.  This brings up the options menu.  Fing the option that says "Key Settings" ( or something like that).  Find the tabbed window that says "Text Window."  At the bottom of the list it says ?M_CONSOLE under the Macro heading and then "Enter" under the key setting.  Hightlight the ?M_CONSOLE hit the key on your keyboard that usually returns the cursor to the next line (Labeled the "Enter" or "Return" key).  Hit the key again and the "Enter" under the Key heading will change to "return."  

Back in the olden days, the return key just dropped your cursor down one line and to the home position (the far left position.) These were the days of dedicated "word processors."  Not just an application on a computer but the sole purpose of the machine.  Before these "word processors" there were these things called "type writers." Much like word processors but with the backspace and delete keys replaced by a bottle of white-out, and the "monitor" was a peice of paper being slowly moved through a spool.  One had to often fight off the dinosaurs that were attracted to the sound of the "type writer" during late night last minute crunch time theses paper writing sessions.
