For my next trick I'm going to remove the Project News category (that is the official announcements and it's child boards.

This is because they're more or less unused, which is partly because as the rest of the site has developed over the years, these 'blog' boards have become redundant.

Obviously I'm not just going to delete the posts. Rather, I'll merge them to other boards.

So Official announcements, Michtoen's blog, and Programmers' blogs all get merged to Daimonin Project. Artists' blogs to Graphics. Musicians' blogs to Sound & music, and Mapmakers' blogs to Map sets.

Any calls for mercy?

Well I'm not copying the threads one by one -- it'd take forever! -- but that's what the effect would be. So the boards disappear entirely, the threads remain but in a new home.

hehe Problem is once I have worked out what I want to do and how to do it, actually doing it becomes a bit dull.

But OTOH I fixed a bug in Wikka today and updated a few pages. But I'm still waitiing for MT to upgrade to Wikka 1.2...

Everything takes 2 weeks. The question is: how long is 2 weeks? (As I said, I did do some work on Daipedia today, so that's probably a good sign.)
