server support for clans is a bit off yet.  many things need rewritten before that would even be remotely possible, but one day it will be.  it will take time (AI support alone for it will be a mess and a half to do).

would it be possible to make a simple AI that can modify your screen name so players can see this AI and get the clan tag added themselves? maybe make it so players can only add/subtract only say 4 char of thier names to keep from name shifting too much? i can see where this may be very tough.

While I'm very proud of my clan (The_Nights_watch), I kinda' like it that you don't automatically see who belongs to what clan...

oh, it's *possible*, but with the server code right now, not practical.

*hopefully* it can be completed to have clans implemented in server code for B5. For some people the unfortunate downside of that is limitation to 1 clan, but that is due to the limitation of one "clan force" to prevent conflicts that can cause server crashes.

I think its better being limited to one clan..IMO...It shows more respect and honor for the clan your in :)
