Hi guys, this is my guide for agility builds (Please remember, this post is a super big spoiler):

(click to show/hide)

A little tool you will need later on, try doing Frah'Ak's quest in Guild Hall prison, his skil will be a gold mine at the end.

Consider this, your best bet is farming Farhgorn north of Montibow Colony for the Velocity ranged weapon, so far I can certify he drops the crossbow, not sure about bow or slings, this weapon is level 15.

You can buy your first ranged weapon in Stonehaven's smith shop along with the ammunition.

Now, leveling as a ranger might feel a bit repetitive because the proper gear comes along level 90 with Purple Wurm shield in CS, your best option are dexterity random drops you can find along the way.

Now considering leveling, I've experienced the best spots to be around Stonehaven Village, you can get there by asking the priest in the Tabernacle temple at Stonehaven, he can teleport you there.

Your best options as a beginner is the Ant well south of the Stonehaven Village temple and later on the Bee cave to the west of the village, at around level 20 you can aim for the Ogre Outpost to the east.

Consider this, as the velocity weapons can get you to endgame, Fahrgorn can be a bit hard for newcomers, if you willing to battle him, he is a melee ent, so get as much resistances as you can and don't worry about the surrounding ones, they aren't aggresive, but Fahrgorn is so be careful about him.

Now at your level you can head to Stoneglow, you can go there through the portal at Stonehaven Tabernacle Temple, you can get back to Stonehaven by talking to the priest in Stonehaven Village.

Now here, your best bet are the bees north of SG (Stoneglow), I suggest not to attempt the slimes to the east because it's a battlefield and it can be messy, you might die a couple times.

You can keep going north after the bees when you get stronger and go through the bridge crossing the river training with the wilderness mobs.

At around level 40 you can give PR (Panaim Redoubt) a shot, you can get there by going a lil bit north from the wilderness, you can find a little island with a pole and a skull on top, the entrance is inside a rocky formation to the south of this island.

Be careful entering at night, try to do it as fast as you can because at the bone pile you will find Bone Demons and Skeletons dancing around it, they hit hard at your level.

Be careful as in PR you will encounter some of the first spellcasters you will meet, try to get a reflect castables necklace if you can.

After PR, you can head to UC (Underground City) at the east of PR, be careful again, this is another battlefield, you can enter relatively safely going through the south wall made of trees, there's a safe entrance at the east of the fortification.

You will find yourself at around level 60-70, you have 2 choices here, a safe and a dangerous one, the second requires skill and patience.

1. The first choice is CS (Captured Stronghold) at the east of UC, you will need to border the Tower of Bebeniss lake by north, you can stay here until level 100 at most, but can leave at level 90 if you get strong enough.

In CS you can find the purple wurm shield, you will need to find the stairs past a room with 2 Ettins and a Cyclops, and then on through the basement past the fire giants, the troll and some other mobs till you find a room in the north with Ice Giants, the leader drops a Torture Room key.

With this Key you will be able to open a locked door you might have passed on your way a little bit to the south but north from the Troll, here lies the Purple wurm with the shield, be careful, it has confusion attacks, this status can mean you running like crazy and the wurm catching you to make a snack out of you.

2. The second choice is for the strongest there is, a little disclaimer, might be easier to do if you already maxed another profession, it is the Dread Overseers in The Pit (High difficulty, seriously), you can get to them at Misterious Vault, way to the east of Tower of Bebeniss at the middle of the lake south of CS, you will have to surround the lake through the south path, there you will find another battlefield with red guards as enemies, entering requires big resistances because their damages can go up to around 300 damage per hit.

You will have to find 2 keys, the first one from a deputy inside a room past a gate, he is alone, the second from a Barrow Wight (Careful he has paralyze hits) named General Culnius I believe, the path to the end is hard, not gonna lie, I'll leave it to you to discover, you will get to a room past some debris that caused a collapse and a hallway with a guard and a vase, there's an invisible wall past the vase, you will find yourself with a nasty spellcaster Priestess Morgana, and The Pit is past the sewer entrances in the middle of the room, be careful, as entering it a Dread Overseer will attack you with spells inmediately, there are 8 overseers in the room, try not to trigger other ones as you battle, it can be catastrophic, but this is what I consider the best place possible to level agility.

Now, by getting to level 100 you are able to go through the gauntlet of Pagoda itself, to the east of MV, past an abominable ice golem, this is map full of puzzles, traps and a lot of funny mechanics, might make your nerves once or twice (remember to ready up a macro with remove traps as you will need this a lot), you will find 5 of the Killrin agility gears here.

Belt you get from a Dark Magician in MV, go find him :D.

Pants you get from the first Armoured Demon you find in The Pit, go find him :D.

Now about the rings, they are RoGT (Ring of Greater Thieves), you can get those in UC, there's a secret passage in a room with a green dressed spellcaster Drow, will leave to you the rest, here's a sweet info, they drop from a Minotaur.

And about the necklace, keep in mind this is an endgame guide, it is the Pendant of Agrion the priest, a super rare necklace with +10 con, useful to most builds.

Shoulders and weapon in the picture, don't mind about them, your best bet are superior dexterity or precision random drops.

There are 2 hidden jewels in this build FT bracers and Halloween Gauntlets, the won't be easy for sure, one you get at Fade Temple, probably the hardest map available by now, recommended to do in teams, because the basement can be super scary, and Halloween Gauntlets one of the best hidden secrets in the game, only available at the halloween event map when it opens, you can find better information about this drop on Dolfo's Halloween Spoiler guide.

I'm a little newbie on doing posts, I will improve this info in the days to come, since I think it's a lot.

I'll just give a few pieces of advice in addition to miopol's guide

1. If training Agility as a main skill handy items will be the Ninja set at lvl 45 that should serve you till lvl 90.
2. I personally prefer DT to PR for lvl 40ish and you can stay there until lvl 70-80ish with ease if you train on evil pets. PR is doable but I've found it more awkward as many mobs move meaning afk is riskier and there isn't much room for hit and run so I only go there to camp specific items rather than grind XP.
3. MV has an entrance requirement of lvl 100 and if you're below that then the teleporter doesn't activate and you'd get killed by the guards beside it as you get surrounded...
4. At around lvl 50+ assuming you can kill the Minotaur it's an excellent place to camp as other than RoGT he also gives amazing XP and it's fairly risk free as you can escape via stairs at the end and wait 15sec and return. His guards also give good XP but do resist melee damage so aren't quite as good but viable while waiting for a respawn.

As far as my general approach goes I'd use the following plan
1. Get an alt and quickly do Fanrir's quest to get an extra Fanrir's ring to give to your main. An extra dam+ ring will help early on.
2. Complete all the Priest Guild quests (that means lvl 11 Wi) so you have the auxiliary support spells, an emergency heal and a back up attack option if you run out of ammo
3. You can ignore Ma as you'll want armour that has SF for good protects so you'll eventually be unable to cast due to Spell Fumble. It might help you early on in damage dealing and there is no harm using it but it's lower priority than prayers.
4.  When shooting at a distant foe always shoot diagonally if possible. The reason is that if the mob dodges you then it takes an extra step to reach you. For example imagine you're on 1 square on numpad and shooting at a mob at 3 on the numpad. Mob can dodge by moving diagonally to 5 and hit you. If on the other hand the mob is at 9 then it can only dodge to the 6 or 8 position that is out of melee range.
5. When training at low levels you can just do the first hit with archery and use another skill to finish it off. This can make it a bit easier when damage isn't high and saves you money on ammunition. You might find you get more XP at low levels doing 1 hit with melee, range, prayers and magic than using just 1 skill to kill the enemy.
6. Ranged weapons in terms of damage are Crossbow > Bow > Sling with it being reversed in terms of attack speed. So crossbow does most damage per hit and would be cheaper to use on the long run. However as sling's attack speed is faster and dam+ is static I suspect at endgame sling might well be best in terms of dps although I've not run the numbers and it would be a bit more expensive to run as it uses ammo faster

Doesn't matter, you'd die anyway. ;D Shroud's a hacker. After many hours of deep thought I have came to that conclusion.
