Never heard of it.

Myths recently added new books and shuffled the Demon Plane around a bit. That book may be a clue for future content, or maybe it's already been added without me noticing. IIRC there's a ship near Illuma now, maybe the ship can take you there?

Saw a ship with pirates on the beach, also a small docking port a little more to the south, but the port is empty and don't know if the pirate ship can be boarded.

It might refer to the Palace of the Damned that is in that approximate location. I think the ship took you there when there was a working script but PotD I think made the server crash so it was removed.
