I will be hosting a raid on Sunday, January 13th at 10 AM PST (6 PM GMT) so that I can collect some footage for a new game trailer to post on gaming websites. I'm having a professional team work on the trailer and want some footage demonstrating one of the most enjoyable elements of the game - a raid!

I'll be collecting footage for the team but I welcome any players to capture gameplay footage as well. Send me a PM if you're interested in recording gameplay and I can help you set up recording software and I'll let you know what client settings we want used.

For new players who don't know, a town raid is an event in which powerful monsters spawn in Stoneglow and attempt to overtake it. Players must work together to overcome the forces of Moroch and defend Stoneglow. Players are rewarded for their valiant deeds.

Really looking forward to the Raid and the video footage. I am modeling my best Cha items, plan to look absolutely stunning for the recording!

BTW if anyone wants to contribute footage outside of the event (you running through a dungeon, for instance) here are the settings I'm using:

Client > Resolution 1920x1080
Map > Playfield start X: 50
Map > Playfield start Y: 60
Map > Playfield zoom: 190

Then just move the widgets around (right click & drag) so they aren't in the way.

I use Open Broadcast Studio to record (though you can use any program you like), and I set Settings > Output > Recording Quality to "Indistinguishable Quality, Large File SIze" and Settings > Video > Output resolution to "1920x1080". Then just add a Window Capture in the sources panel that captures the Daimonin window.

To submit video, try e-mailing them to _people_ AT I'm not sure how big e-mail attachments these days are allowed to be, so let me know here if that doesn't work.

Btw why did you record a 800x600 limited game in 1920x1080 resolution?

I changed the client resolution to 1920x1080 and raised the zoom on the map to fit the screen. All of this is available in the client settings. Soon we will be using an updated client which will work well with 1920x1080 and Joe is working on making higher-resolution graphics.

We made the decision to use 1920x1080 as many prospective players these days won't watch a trailer in 800x600.
