Two ogres, one an ogre notesman and the other a sentry in cloud mountains (0002 4,5 if that makes sense?) are stuck to their place and will not attack even if shot at.

It's kind of an AI shortcoming (though not the actual AI stuff because IIRC these ogres don't even use that).

The idea is that certain mobs will stand guard and not run away from/after a player, thus leaving whatever they were guarding unattended for another player to break into/steal/whatever.

In this case they're guarding the entrance to the Giant Embassy.

But it all falls apart with ranged attacks.

Could this be cured with a script that summons another ogre to investigate where a ranged attacck had come from?
