Upon Clobber logging in, in the /say channel only, blade_wolf changed to "blade_wolf *"

When blade and clobber re-logged, the asterisk was gone.

is there proof that it WAS clobber doing it? or do you think it was a kind of glitch in the coding?
i for one dont like to point fingers at old b3 players

Hm, interesting... i was hunting there a bug some time ago. Can be releated

I remember this bug back in beta 3. I used to be able to reproduce it until beta 4 came out, then I thought it was fixed. Though earlier someone told me how to do it in beta 4. I think it is done by putting a locked item in a bag, and putting that bag within another bag. Your character will appear locked to everyone else looking in the bottom window, as well as the asterisk appearing in /say chat. The bug is purely cosmetic and nothing bad can happen as a result of it.
