I am new to daimonin (as is pretty obvious if you read suggestions carefully) and when i wanted to search material on Daimonin ...the first word that came to my mind was Wikipedia.

I understand the fact that the game has its own dedicated wiki (Daipedia) but Wikipedia is famous throughout the globe and is first choice for information on any topic (people even copy their assignments from Wikipedia) for many people.

The thing that saddened me was that there was no dedicated page to Daimonin and only a fleeting mention in Crossfire page.

If Daimonin has to progress ...then it has to increase its player base and that can only be done by publicising the game.

When i asked on IRC about if i should write a page on the Wikipedia ...i was replied to that i should probably ask michtoen if that would be a good idea as it represent the whole game on WIkipedia resource. Unluckily our time zones don't match and he is not very easily available on IRC at any moment in 24 hours (i know that because i am awake about 20 hours a day and mostly online either in-game or on irc or on site).

I want to discuss if writing a page in Wikipedia is a good idea and is a go for all Daimonin player (i could write anyway but i wanted to do what is ethically and morally right).

Also i would suggest that the admins and mods themselves look into this issue and contribute to the Wikipedia.

P.S. : Port this topic to suggestion if you find it irrelevant to this board. I chose wiki  board because i had to chose something and i had already posted twice on suggestion so i thought that i might be considered to be spamming.

I can't find the thread about this. I've found references to it, but the thread itself seems to be MIA...

Anyway, yeah there was a Wikipedia page but it got removed for not very good (or consistent) reasons.

There is a somewhat longterm plan to write a new one, but so far no-one has stuck with doing much practical about it.

It is planned for an advertise campaign after B5 release, which will go about and update all Daimonin sources across the net (that's hundreds of websites, including wikipedia.org).
