i deleted the file. and was unable to get it to come up again. when i got home i logged into the site with my wifes computer. again when i clicked on Vote for Daimonin i got the same virus warning. i am not sure, but i am thinking it minght be one of the links on the page. i mentioned on skype the first time, but i was able to get it to do it again so i thought i would update you on it. if you have any questions you can message me..
for you info
i am using windows vista (work) xp(home) using AVG 8.5 as my antivirus.

i need more information - you get that warning when you acces WHICH link.

Please post the link so i can check and/or remove it.

I assume you don't get it when you access
https://www.daimonin.org/vote-daimonin but you try to vote on a list, right?
Just tell me which link/list is involved!

and every of these 3 machines is running AVG?
i dont mean to be rude, but is this avg a legit copy? just asking. its important.
otherwise, post here names of antivirus software used. oh, and if thats possible, your dns service name. you wouldnt believe how these can mess with loading pages.

i installed AVG from chip.de and tested it... nothing.

I also sanned my whole internet cache (i use like 6 different browsers) for
"psyme." - nothing.

So, is all fine for me...

ANYONE else with any problems?

If you check the page source you see that only the wos.lv site is called by a java script, all other use <img> links and <a> links, so i don't see there any way of inclusion... hm

So, only the wos.lv is a possible candidate for including on the page itself.

You don't get any information from which source the script comes? Thats strange...

I get the message when i click on the Vote for Daimonin link. the message comes up before the page finishes loading.
I am using AVG Free edition. and all versions of Windows are legal.
my DNS is supplied by NWTEC.

I only get the message the first time i go the page where i can select which place to vote. after i get the message the first time and remove it, it doesnt come back.

I will try it on a couple other machines later this afternoon.
again it isnt one of the vote links, it is the page that comes up after i click on Vote for Daimonin from the main page.

well, let me check one thing... try again now, i removed the only <script> entry.

After you got the msg, can you please go "source text" or whatever is called
in your browser - so you can see the page source.

The problem is this: The page is clean for us. And i can ensure it is on our server,
i coded the html source by myself and i can see the source code right now connected
to the web server - no way to trick there. So, the are 3 options:

- one of the called <img src=""> calls trying to do some evil
- there is a problem with your virus scanner or dns

anyway, its strange nothing happens on our systems.
I have really alot browsers installed, so it should triggered here.

to ensure it - try this page: https://www.daimonin.org/internal-votes

I moved the one <script> called vote list to that page.

we have checked it, it seems the one link icludes advertising in an iframe.
Possible harmless, anyway, it should not be there.
I will convert the link to pure html, then its over with advertising tricks and
all are on the safe side.

Ddhanna FWIW I'd recommend you not use AVG. I used it for quite some time and didn't realize just how much trouble it caused. I've switched to Avira Antivirus, which I've found to be a better performer, in all respects. AVG has more false positives than most other free antivirus solutions out there, from what I've read about it and from what folks who've used it have told me.

It sounds like the error you're receiving is from a false positive; either that, or your machines are infected with something that AVG isn't picking up and it's being triggered when you visit the URL you mentioned, supra.

I have founds something else. i figired i would put it here instead of starting a new thread. i went to vote on the first icon that comes up. (http://www.gamesites200.com/mpog/vote.gif) it takes me to the site to vote. i type in the code and press enter. after i enter the site that shows the rankings i went to page 2 and found where Daimonin was at. (currently #58) i clicked on the Daimonin link, it sends me to (https://www.daimonin.org/vote-daimonin) instead of the Daimon start page. is this by design or is it a link pointing to the wrong place?
