anyways i downloaded the newest map making package and i noticed that there is no local client, i read that the in game client is the one to use. however how do you join your local host server ? the only options i see appear to be the dev, main , and test servers respectively. so how would i go about to test out my newly made map sets ?

I told you last night in-game. ;)

Under Windows, right-click your desktop shortcut and click "properties". Then, in the "target" field of the menu that appears, add a space and then "--local" to the end. Then click OK and start the client. Local should then appear on the server select screen.
