How about some player versions of the guard armours? That way you could have 4 guard captains that give out quests for a piece of it at a time.
Talwoasc is back, and hopes to be able to update his shop soon.

Long robes.  The second colors are for comparison. I favor the less saturated colors on the right.

---

Talwoasc, aye, they're all intended to be droppable armor (the guard equipment).  If you have any bright ideas for insignias or adornment to make them fit better, please shout.  I've been tempted to fix some crests somewhere, but 30x30 is really quite small.  It'd be a bare smudge.

The guard captain idea is solid, I reckon. :D

---

lol Nobbit, always helpful. :D

---

Planes, thanks bunches. :D

So what's missing?  As a mage I feel a bit tied to a linen feathered hat and wool pants at the moment, even at level 90.  Also, mages really lack the giant range of body armor offered to fighters, some feel they're stuck with a linen coat until the first mithril armor is available at mage level 35.  Really, though, the range of Daimonin items seems pretty extensive.

Maybe a series of collectables?  Alchemical elements are curious, and may have potential use in the future.  Things like toadstools are just plain fun to draw and color.

Oh, and Stealth wants a Pike of Dorothy +6. :D

honestly your a better artist as i dont use layers and have only scratched the surface on the 3d modleing

I never had any formal art training other than school years ago, shame I am not In High school now, The technology is so far advanced from when I went that I would have access to so much more... but then I wouldn't want to turn the clock back so quickly for just that.  I did actually have an opportunity onced with DeVry tech in pheonix, Arizona but threw it away over getting high.  I ended up joining the navy and getting myself cleaned up and on track again there.

Art Training? I've never even heard of that, when I had art in 8th grade, I made a 70, because all I would do is listen to my ipod and do nothing; But theres where it all started for me, I got the computers and started drawing in MSPaint, I drew a couple noob swords.

It has to be fun. If it is not fun, it has to be moving.
If it is not fun or moving, maybe we can poke it with a stick and make it mad.

Well, it's a shame that my unexpected hiatus has fallen on such great times for graphics. I am taking some pretty hard classes this trimester, and i'm afraid i won't have that much time to organize everyone's work :P. I should feel more into it in a couple of days and might get some work done...

Anyhoo, if you guys (raab, stealth, and codwallop) wanted to send me their newest stuff, i might be able to find some time to at least organize them :P. You all know my email i think, but if stealth doesn't, check my profile ;).

For the record, i have had no training either. Well, i did take a class that had to do with computer graphics a couple years ago, but i ended up teaching the class for a few days for the teacher--so i don't count that as taking any classes ;).

Anyhoo...

Codswallop, your stuff is still fabulous ;)
Sherock, i always am very grateful for how much work and time you put into what you do. It is a very great contribution you are doing, and don't underestimate how much we appreciate it.
Stealth, you've got some talent, so keep using it ;)
Raab, you know what i think of you :P. Ah, and that's a nice valentines day rod you made, btw ;).

Oh, codswallop, you use GIF? Well, when you send them to me, make sure you give me the .png versions. GIF is a lossy format, and we wouldn't want to loose any of your details ;).

Cheers,

Zru's Wooly Tigersmith Bracers

Knit by you-know-who, muscles bunching and writhing just under his forge-flickered skin as he did.

Inspected for quality by Lightwolf.

I know they look like mutant croissants.

Hiya Unislash,
I only use gif when posting here.  The images I send you will all be png, properly positioned. :D

Perhaps if you position the bracers differently (have the one behind to be higher than the one in front instead of aligned) and make inside of the bracers alot more darker it shouldn't look anything like bread. Other than that  they look nice and rather unique :)
