Main has been updated to 0.10.8-g, pending a reboot by Myths.

I won't list player-visible changes because there aren't (m)any. This is mostly to align the code with trunk and fix a few tech bugs ahead of future non-interim updates.

I've noticed a pretty big player visible change. I've logged on to daimonin and I can't cast any prayers or spells. I've tried both with a macro and ctrl+direction when equipped to range slot. I can however confirm archery works (at least arrows fire).

I think it's a bug.

EDIT: Just a quick update and I can cast minor healing etc. So I think it's just combat spells that are affected

EDIT2: Can confirm melee works

EDIT3: Can confirm that archery also has issues as WC is calculated differently. So now most arrows miss when previously they had a 100% hit rate apart from with fumbles. Also interestingly mobs also can't cast spells so skeleton mages are now sitting ducks ;)

EDIT4: Equipment bugs exist. If you equip a melee item it automatically unequips your ranged weapon (in my case a bow). When bow is reapplied melee item stays applied

EDIT5: Archery is broken. You can't apply an arrow and bow at the same time. Throwing weapons can be applied and used

EDIT6: Had a bug where throw weapons didn't work. Player doll showed blank dps/wc stats. It seemed to fix itself when I went through a shop portal

Dammit! Sounds like at least 2 bugs. Comvat spells and archery attscks failing sound as if somehow a little bit of the [unfinished] attack code crept in.

The apply/equip stuff sounds like a change I  intentionally made went wrong.

Doesn't sound long term disasterous, just annoying. I'll work on h...

Archery attacks missing is actually due to equipment added. Joe made a Killrin Agility set that had wc-50 on every piece of equipment. Rationale was he could put dam+ without it affecting melee attacks while Ag attacks don't use wc so it was a redundant stat. I'd probably describe it as a clumsy workaround before your attackform concept existed but it was the best available option with the tools available at the time. Archery does work as long as you have previously applied a stack of arrows and a bow but once it's unapplied then you can't use it again.

If I was to class it into bugs I'd say it falls under following:

1. Spells - usually when you try to change code and server doesn't like it spells disappears.
2. Equip - Handling ranged weapons - i.e. Melee weapon unequips and getting arrows and bows simultaneously equiped
3. Archery Missing - This could be a feature but is currently a bug. A quick and dirty fix is just to give all bows and throw weapons +430wc that would instantly fix it. It depends how you want to change things going forward

Thanks. When Myths reboots, combat castables are fixed and applying archery equipment  is fixed (this may be the prob with throwing too). Let me know what's outstanding.

Good news is I tested an ego item and it seemed to work. Although it did also unequip my ranged device that I presume is bug 2. Server hasn't been rebooted so it might already be fixed
