I think some games have dress robes that have no actual stat purpose and are merely cosmetic.

It's not too different to the concept of skins you see in games and many games have a character creation stage where you can pick eyes, ears, nose, skin tone, hair colour, hair cut,, body shape etc

A simple implementation would allow Myths to make her Dark Elf character. A more complex one would potentially allow stealth operations since imagine if you dressed as a bandit and were able to infiltrate a bandit's den as clothing would make you appear an ally until you attacked someone. Admittedly it would mean linking clothing to alignment etc so unlikely to be anything happening anytime soon although it would be funny to see people being attacked on sight by a mugwump lover when they see them wearing a mugwump fur coat.

I'm assuming NPCs will look the same way and potentially guilds can be used for how people look so each guild gets a uniform

Hi Joe,
Just a FYI
Another Saber of Light dropped today and the little blue square with an M on it to designate an item as magic wasn't there as shown in the picture.
I did a server reset just in case and it still wasn't visible.
Like I said this is just a FYI and I know you you are working on other projects that are more important so absolutely no rush here.
As sabers are really rare items in Daimonin hopefully this thread will be enough to keep players from dropping them thinking it is nothing special.

Just a quick question in case I'm missing something about the Saber of Light but it seems to have 0.0 dps and only deals 1% pierce damage so even if it has wc+420 it doesn't seem like it does any damage and has no stat boosts. Unless there is a complementary item with a huge wc penalty I'd consider it nothing special. It might need a story like "While the saber of light at first sight appears to not be a strong weapon, it is said that a priest can wield great power when it is wielded alongside the [whatever the other item is]"

Probably the other item(s) need something like "The [insert item name] can only reach it's full potential while wielded alongside the Saber of Light". If there are different variants then it might need to be the weapons of light or listing them individually.

I'm not too familiar on new items so unsure what exactly they are or how sets work but I think text on the item can give a bit of information especially if it's a situational item that is designed to work with another specific item. Even benign text like "This Ninja [piece] is part of the uniform issued to only the finest ninjas in Nhara Village" can make Ninja gear look rarer (I need to pray there are Ninjas in Nhara Village!).

Each piece of the killrin priest set has attack light/death/godpower.  Once all combined with the new weapon they have unique attack dps.  Myths can trade your older priest gear for the new ones if you don't want to camp them all over again.

One thing I was going to say that the Saber of Light I think needs stats fixed. Having read back I saw that it had the following stats

dps = 1
wc = 420
attack type = 1% pierce

The problem is that at the moment it actually had 0.01 dps. So let's say we gave an accompanying item with attack type = 99% godpower and wc- 400

Total stats we get are as follows:
dps = 1
wc = 20
attack type = 1% pierce, 99% godpower

Now let's say that we want to go completely overkill and get to normal damage let's say we gave an accompanying item with attack type = 2499% godpower and wc- 400

Total stats we get are as follows:
dps = 1
wc = 20
attack type = 1% pierce, 2499% godpower

1dps and 2500% attack ~ 25 dps and 100% attack

The only problem is that if you assume that with negative wc you still hit 5% of the time and then you use a 2h Warrior weapon with 40 dps then you'll end up with a weapon that has equivalent to 1000dps but his 5% of the time so an average of 50 dps. In that case I think my warrior wouldn't hit often but when it did it would be for over 60k damage.

So in summary I think the arch should give saber of light 100dps and then as it's 1% attack pierce that lowers effective dps to 1 dps.

P.S. I'm curious if the old priest gear is better than the new ones or not

So I've made some sexy water anim for us...

The RCHES are [very] broken. Many arch foo in maps just don't exist, causing the server to CREATE SINGULARities. For example login with a new char.

EDIT: Seems  itS THE OLD SF MAPS.

I need more time in my day, presently there's not enough.  The old water masks were replaced with new animated arches.  I'll have to find time from somewhere (that doesn't presently exist) to touch up maps.  The reason this was done in the first place was to make way for animated masks.  The old ones weren't able to be animated because of the way they were named.  HERE this shows the changes:
