OK maybe I lied to you earlier.

Commit your images to svn+ssh://YOURSFUSERNAME@svn.code.sf.net/p/daimonin/code/main as well as to trunk. I forgot that at some point we changed main to not grab the same arches as trunk. It makes sense to do it this way so that if we add a new arch attribute to the development branch it won't break Main.

Joe, next week I'm planning on doing some work on the Divine Prayers skills, altars, etc. Can I get a few cool prayer graphics? Some ideas Ninian and I brainstormed are:

    • An "aura" prayer which does damage over time or debuffs mobs while they're inside a 3x3-ish radius. I think for graphics it would likely have to stay on the player's tile for now, until the new client comes out
    • An AoE prayer which works similarly to the omnidirectional storms (rest and type /cast firestorm to see what I mean)
    • A trap-like prayer which causes non-Tabernacle objects (mobs for now) to be damaged when they step on it (a name which comes to mind could be "Hallowed Ground")
      • For this one I'm thinking of some kind of "downward beam" implying the Tabernacle itself is attacking the infidel

Any other ideas you have will be welcome!

EDIT: Just finished most of the code for the 3rd one since it's easiest. Works well so far

Looks good! Any chance you could add some transparency and maybe a fade out towards the edges on the second half of that animation (where it becomes the blue sphere)?

Not sure this the right place to post this and it is meant for Joe with his refurbishing of SG (I also noticed SH, GH and Ilumna )
Can the dogs please be removed, they make no sense and I believe they were originally added as a prank to annoy players.
-SG is a war zone and so what does make sense is to have priests randomly wandering around the town to heal the injured and dying.
-My very strong suggestion is to replace the dogs with different priests and have them follow the same random algo that the dogs do, this would be much more logical and in theme with SG

The cats? I believe that is  how the bartender gets the food rations he sells to the players

Thx I'm glad you like it.  Having a little fun adding a bit of sparkle to Daimonin before it's converted to 3d.  Even though this will all eventually end in the recycle bin and we'll have nice 3d graphics, this is still a good chance for me to learn and spend my time, kinda like a hobby I find relaxing.
