Well ... it rained a lot today! Miserable really :(
Managed to get onto the DEV server to take a look around - Mizza showed me some neat looking maps. They need filling in a bit and all that, but there were some nice features. I particularly like the new ability to restrict movement from one tile to another in selected directions, and the fading floors which have been added since I was away. I had a number of ideas for maps floating around in my head a long time ago which I couldn't really implement at the time, but now may be possible - so good job by the DEV team.
My two boys spent a while running around the game today which was nice. They started playing same time as I did, but they haven't been the most persistent of players. Still, nice to seem them online and enjoying themselves.
My youngest wants to know when the next Raid might be? I never got round to running a raid myself, and wouldn't know really where to start ... any GMs feel like scheduling and running a raid sometime in the near future? Doesn't have to have a story, just a bunch of nice mobs to kill!!! Raids are always fun ...
Grommit, I think Torchwood is referring to a new arch I made for the Tomb of the Undying (/goto /unofficial/mizza/tou/_tou). It features a fading bridge you need to pass in order to get to the boss area. Stepping next to the bridge makes you "fall down" a level. The fading floor is not coded in the server which means it still shows as a misc arch in the tile window in the client.
I agree with Torchwood that the block movement attribute is a nice feature. However, it takes a lot of time to set every tile the right way.

What do you mean by fading floors?
