Better not to leave the group when you want come back,
thats only true for the groups doing work like mods or admins.
The access settings are variable but limited - the CMS we use
sets the borders. And yes, we set the access for all in the first time, but then we got increasing spam. Blame them.
idk if i get that right, but i was in no group and able to post blogs. the only thing that wasn't possible when i was not in the authors group was to post there (well, i didn't try) - that'd be okay. But everybody, wether he is in a group or not, should be able to blog and comment the gallery.
Edit: So ty for bringing me back to the authors group. now it works again. but as stated before: IMHO every1 should be able to blog here. if not, i have to stay in a group to blog stuff that is nothing to do with the group - that's weired ... at least for me
just tweaking the comment settings. Seems we missed to set the authors right. Its always your group setting, never the account. We don't set single account access, the site works over the groups you are in.

Hmm, the stupid thing about it is that most posts show up when there's posted in between. e.g. only LordGrunt's comment was there when I posted... :/
