picture was taken sideways lol. ruling in 01 when doubling out is a dart hit is a dart counted unless you bust in any of the 3 darts thrown. if a bust occurs then there is no score and your target number to hit remains the same as the throw before. so to answer your question angry if you hit a 3 then bust your score does not count and is still 6 (double 3) to take the game out.
as far as the being good at darts...its like trying to figure out a woman. somedays you think your doing good and then the next you feel like a newb again. only thing i can say to help you on your quest is to practice and practice some more. 7 yrs of practice here and im still getting beat but ive had to work to get to the lvl im at now and with more practice and yrs to come ill have only one way to go with skill...up :p.
Ah darts, what a great social pastime, I think i still have the original plastic dart set, but, I have a question, as my brother in law has recently added a dart board to his pooltable room i need clarification on the rules.
If i have 6 points left to get and must finish with a double 3, and, i hit a single 3 on my first dart, then bust on my 2nd dart, does my required score go back to 6 due to the bust, or do I have to take the 3 points, and then hit a 1 and a double 1 to finish on the next round?
And, why am i terrible when i first start, get better after a couple of hours of amber fluid, and, if; to my reckoning, the reason is due to amber fluid settling the nerves and wayward direction, why then does my accuracy diminish to point of missing the board completely despite taking this concoction of accuracy to its limits. Potions of improvement in Daimonin does not affect me in the same way!

Nobbit Lawn Darts are those 5-10lb spears with guidence fins in the back with a handle stick past he fins. used like horse shoe throwing but so much for more.. penitration of the "target" from 20 + feet archs :) not to shaby on weaker old cement blocks too.
and umm small mammals, even bipeds.. starting to get the reason for the U.S.A sales banding/Market pull on that early child hood classic?

:) I shoot competitions locally on average 3 nights a week. 90% of the time i take 1st. Then again we're all only human. :)
