Do you know the dev groups?
Well, here is an overview.

The development groups (you can see them under Development in the main button panel) are the heart of the Project Daimonin.

As an open source project, a lot of people have and will work on this mmorpg. You can help too! Open source is open for everyone.

Of course there are rules, but they are mostly technically rules to prevent the next code patch from blasting the game to pieces. You don't want a mob of angry players with torches and pikes in front of your doors, crying for your head, right?

To avoid nasty situations like that, the development groups will act like an interface between the open source world and the game world.

If you're an open source veteran, you will have no problem joining the team - you will, for example, commit a patch to the sourceforge email list and it will most likely be approved.

If you're a player or someone who is new to the whole dev and open source business, we offer you 2 easy ways to become a Contributor:

There are 2 "free for all" groups. Project Team and Mapper. If you are more of a content creator sort of person, go to the Mapper team. If you want see the whole picture, join the Project Team.
