Try installing Daimonin in a folder outside of program files. And then, start the client.exe as administrator (right click > run as administrator).

Anich - I don't think that's his problem. If you read his post again, it looks like his client was communicating with the server.

A short while before the post, there were problems with the server, so maybe it was just starting up again or something. It had been down for quite a while before the restart, so maybe you chose the wrong time to try, aurelius.

Have another go.

Don't be afraid, little one. Yes, you still have to do the '-server 1' thing.

Jeffy: The -server 1 option would solve the problem, maybe you did it wrong...

It is very unwise to download any executables (programs) except sources you trust... Any evil hacker could easily present a virus here on forum, concealed as Daimonin client installer...

dude how many times must i say it..it was before the frigging meta server stopped working for the  widget. i had posted it becuase when i had downloaded it i needed to uninstall then reinstall. the server-1 is the old client wich was not needed at the time of the post. the meta server happend some time in july mine happend in june.

alright if you wanna complain to me about the meta server still take a look at this:

Have you considered.... getting a newer version?

If you want it to work like a charm, just download the newest version and do the -server 1 thing. Your save the keys.dat and the options.dat and you're good to reinstall.

Well, that happens if you don't read carefully about the -server 1 thing. Im 100% sure in all post about this topic its daimonin.exe NOT daimonin_start.exe  (Maybe in older posts client.exe but als there never any word about a client_start.exe)

Btw your really using an old client.

If you are on Vista please start the client_start.exe or daimonin_start.exe (whatever it is named) with Administrator rights (Rightclick on the exe->Run as Administrator)

If you use XP just start daimonin_start.exe (client_start.exe). If your client looks the same after the program did run, please make sure the daimonin_start.exe is allowed in your firewall.
