Today, the server booted everyone, but we were all still logged in. When I was booted, I thought I had been /kicked, I got the "Can't connect!" message when trying to log back in. I tried a few minutes later, and saw the "Double login! Kicking older instance!" Message, and everyone was logged in. Seconds later, Clobber logged back in and the same had happened to her. We confirmed that it had happened to everyone, and Clobber asked me to report this so someone could add it to the bugtracker.

That is odd. No logs, which means the server didn't actually go down (or something very bad happened).

Hm, I'll check the open logfile (take a few minutes)

EDIT: Not sure if this was THE problem, but it's certainly A problem.

It appears that a B5 version of the flame geyser script (in the wyv cave) got onto main. This was causing dozens and dozens of bugs. So that least would have caused a periodic reboot of the server. This was probably what you experienced.

No idea why or how it happened though...

Anyway. I've simply disabled the script.
