Cutintwo

« on: 09, November 2009, 12:52:52 »
'Twas still 100  BM and the world new little of the horror which would come to plague the three free races of Man, Elf and Dwarf.  The union's which would occur between the races had yet to happen and the horror and the beauty of those unions had yet to be revealed.  Life in Stonehaven village moved as it had for for uncountable years.  The farms produced food and the merchants traded, spent and accumulated their money.

The first inkling that something was going dreadfully wrong was after the first and only known marrige of a Man and female dwarf.  They had but one child, its mother died during its birth and the father killed himself out of guilt for creating this monster.  He left a note naming the child Mawarf in the old tongue, or as we now say Morph.  The midwife said to kill it and kill it quick, but too slow was the hand of the doctor and Morph slid between the floorboards with a 'HaHaHa' and escaped.

The female dwarfs name was Subcutaneous (which proves beauty is only skin deep) of the elder dwarven family 'Cutaneous'.  Her brother Cutadash swore on his life and that of his sons that they would restore the family honour and destroy Morph by bisecting him and releasing his soul to the judgement of Tabernacle.

Cutadash died before he could face the monster, hearing only dark stories of animal mutilation and feasting on the flesh of any and all of the three free races.
His only son (the unfortunatly named) Cuttoribbons did find and face Morph in single combat, he lived up to his name.

Cuttoribbons died without seeing his own son born, but the childs mother named him 'Morphsbane' in the dwarven tongue or as we know him 'Cutintwo'
