/password finally allows players to change their ingame pwd. There's ingame help so I won't repeat it but here are a few important points:
  • Any player can change their own account's PW but GMs can change any account's PW and don't need to know the old one first (this is so a GM can get you back into your account if you forget the pwd -- and convince the GM it really is yours).
  • PW sharers beware! A can change the PW, locking B out. PW sharing has always been discouraged by GR1d, and this command only strengthens that discouragement.
  • If you are thinking to misuse this command to be a jerk, be aware that details are logged to the GMs. These details do not include the actual PW. PWs are never logged by the server and GMs cannot read your account's PW.

This is currently on dev for testing and feedback.
