So, lets sort out the levels at which mod privs kick in.

On community chat only the community has certain mod privileges based on their post count. New posts in that forum do not add to your post count. So to get the mod privs you need to post daimonin-related stuff to the other boards.

Also, all moderation actions are logged, so don't abuse it. ;)

split/merge should be brought up to the 50-60 range IMO.  Reason being that splitting and merging random topics can cause alot of confusion really fast =)

Yipe, you can do tables in forums? I'm going to have to investigate this .... the list I did is a little messy :(

Exactly, that's why I went to the bother of doing this. To see how/if it worked. :)

Tables work the same way as they do in html (without boarders and format). And yes they work fine.
ExampleExample
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9abcdefg

Actually the coding for tables in these forums is more strict than the coding in HTML (or perhaps it's more correct to say that the web browsers are more forgiving in properly displaying bad HTML table code). Specifically, most of the time in HTML if you don't specify the left-most column tags then the table still displays correctly but not so in the forums.

I support stuffing computers of the people doing that deliberately with viruses and cutting up all their cables... :)

Most web browsers today will correct broken tags. In fact, you don't have to end </html> anymore :). But to stay on the safe side, never let the browser correct html tags for you.

for those who don't know, there are services for html and css validators (http://www.w3.org/QA/Tools/), to check if your site follows the standards... you don't "have to" follow standards to have a website, though its like not following driving rules...

When I was doing HTML coding and web design, I somehow was able to get most of my pages HTMLv3 validated. :D Of course, this was a few years ago. Web pages have become a bit more complex since then. :P :(

Hmmm, anyone can tell me what I can do with "split/merge topics" ? I just want to know about it so that I/(other peoples who gain this privs) will not mis-use(more suitable word 'abuse')it ? Just want to make sure :).

Lemme give u an example:

Nite*star aka Alu started a thread for colectors. After some posts, some1 asked abt the different posr ranks of forum users - and got a list. I finally split the thread: The first posts, concerning the collections, are still under the ol topic. the posts concerning the ranks have now an own topic. as this is a final list and complete, i also locked the thread.

Clear? :P

Edit: Ur welcome :D
