Stark Metropolis looks a bit oriental but that's probably pagoda influence.
Doesn't matter, you'd die anyway. ;D Shroud's a hacker. After many hours of deep thought I have came to that conclusion.

Joeshmo, I really like those houses. They're very quirky and match the game really well. If/when we get a 3d client I'm definitely taking inspiration from those for the houses :)

Good stuff again.

Quick question then - is this the kind of building we want to be working towards? Or do we stick with what we have?

Also, Joey - can you do me a favour and have a go at:
Guild Flags: Mercenary, Mage, Priest, Battlemage, Palladin, Divine Sorcerer
    Monk gauntlets
Embroidered member's cloaks (and other rewards)

I like the open view buildings, but I also like solid ones for deco reasons and to give us something new to look at.  Also it's fun to put a portal at the entrance of one of these build and make a map to teleport to.

I'll see what I can come up with for some guild flags and such.

I've not been so keen on solid buildings, but maybe it is a way to go.

Such buildings inevitably become tardises (bigger inside than out). On one hand this feels wrong to me. But on the other, I suppose it's not much more than a step away from our dungeons-as-map-nodes.

Anyway I really like these Joehouses.

I propose we move to these buildings but have a set sized map associated with each. For those above, floor space 4x4, the barn 6x4?

I agree it makes more sense to have the map roughly the same size as the building.  Add stairs to a basement and the skies the limit.  :)

Nothing about these are set in stone, just a start to see what you think.

I very much like the actual flag part, but some of the pictures on them seem a bit off isometrically.

The lightning one seems fine as does the Voldemort one.

Cool, thanks for the input.  The images will be perfect when I'm done, still need to add the magic-joe-touch to them.  The pictures are ok though?  I was thinking of changing the monk flag to a book instead.  And the candle stick for paladin I wasn't sure what to do with that.

Is the monk voldemort? That might be an idea, or perhaps a pair of hands praying?

As for Palladin, how about a sun illuminating a pair of swords?
